Isles of Scilly are located at the westernmost part of Great Britain. They are located some 30 miles west of British mainland. Weather seems to be much better and warmer here than in the rest of Great Britan.
Palm trees and other sun loving plants are unexpectedly frequent here. I landed here in May and the weather was excellent, much better than in the rest of the country.
Landing and take off were quite routine. The airport has a concrete runway and Avgas is available here. The nearby port and little town offer beautiful view both from the air and land.
