Finishing his unofficial world record of flying 3189 km in 13 hours and 24 minutes without landing or refuelling, Jiri Prusa landed at Brač airport on Monday, July 1, 2024.
The average speed at which he flew in his ultralight aircraft Shark 600 was 240 km/h. In order to be able to fly VFR day Jiri used the polar day and departed from Honningsvag, 500 km north of the northern polar circle.
